♥ I’m Maygen ♥

There is nothing I love to do more than sing. Any time and any place. Inspiration is everywhere so I find myself collaborating with local and international artists/producers, singing in weddings & special events, and performing with my current Americana band Maygen & The Birdwatcher. It’s exactly where I want to be. Deep in!
A bit about me: I was born and raised in Minnesota with a love of music from a very young age. Upon getting my degree in Music Business, I took a job at a record label in Chicago where I met my East Coast soon-to-be husband. We packed up our trunk and drove to the West Coast sunset of San Diego, CA for some years under palm trees until, alas, I missed this place. How can you not. Minnesota is home and it’s where I feel most musically inspired; writing under the oak trees on the the river bluffs or near the shore of one of the thousands of lakes.
Working on the business side of music was invaluable, but my true passion has always been creation and performance. Getting the stirrings of my soul out into the world through my voice. Over the years I have combined the two and gone into business for myself. Whether you are looking to book live music for an event, or you’re an artist looking to collaborate, I can’t wait to work with you and see what we can do together! It’s a big, beautiful world out there. Plenty of space to leave a mark.  ♥

Why Work With Me

TALENTED • PROFESSIONAL • METICULOUS
I delight in wowing my clients and believe my three main strengths help me to do just that. Whether it’s in the environment of working with couples to find the perfect wedding music or with producers on structuring great melody lines, my combination of vocal ability, true professionalism and a meticulous mindset mean that I settle for nothing less than the best. And if I settle for nothing less than the best, you are in good hands!

Things I Do

NOT TO BE PAINTED WITH JUST ONE BRUSH…

“Music shouldn’t be just a tune, it should be a touch.”

“The only thing better than singing is more singing.”
